What were the numbers of the righteous Abraham suggested for the forgiveness of the whole town?

50 -> (         ) -> (          ) -> 30 -> (         ) -> (         )

The Lord’s judgment comes when two conditions meet. (             ) of the people is so great under the oppression of evil. (v20) There are no (             ) men among the people. (v32)

ANSWERS and Meditation

great nation, the way, right, just

We are called to be a holy nation and royal priesthood. God wants to teach us so that we can walk in the way of God and reveal God to the world.

Also, God didn't want to destroy Sodom without telling Abraham because his nephew Lot lived there. Even though God had a plan to rescue Lot, He didn't do things by surprise to His people.

50 -> ( 45) -> ( 40 ) -> 30 -> ( 20 ) -> (  10 )

Abraham pleaded for Sodom. For fairness and/or Lot.

Sodom was way more sinful than Abraham had thought. The world and we are more sinful than we think, for we cannot see hearts.

In Jeremiah 5:1, Jerusalem was judged because there was No righteous person in the city.

Outcry, righteous

God doesn't want to destroy. When there is no other way than the destruction of the city to stop the oppression, he reluctantly punishes the sinners.

God wants to save sinners through righteous men among them. God saves us because of Jesus Christ, who is among us. Stay with Jesus.

As you see the sins of this world, don't accuse them nor blame God for not judging them. As long as God is holding back the judgment, He is waiting for the repentance of sinners. We have to stand in faith and pray for them.
