5. God knows what is good and provides us (Gen 2:18-25)

After telling Adam about the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, God created Adam's companion. This confirms that God's intention behind the command is good.

Guided Observations

Whatever Adam (           ) each living creature, that was its (          ).

What was Adam’s problem?

When the Lord brought the woman to Adam, he joyfully shouted, “this one is bone of (                ) and flesh of (              ).” He felt an intimacy with the woman.

Verse 25 shows intimacy and trust between a man and his wife. “The man and his wife were (          ) naked, but they were not (            )"

It is (             ) who realizes what is not (         ) in our lives if there is any, and also brings a solution for it.

Meditation & Application

Adam was smart and knowledgeable, but he didn't know what was missing in his life. He could not make it better even though he had known it.

Only God knows how to make your life better (remember God has made all good already) and provides it to you. Therefore, you'd better not focus on how to improve your life, but rather be careful not to sin.

Interestingly, God hadn't created women from the beginning. Through the intervention of God, Adam realized God's amazing work and sang a song of joy. God wants to reveal Himself to us so we can praise Him and rejoice with the Provider. That's one of the purposes of His creating us.
