Answers and Meditation

Close relatives (direct family, not wife)

His wife is excluded from close relatives because she doesn’t share flesh and blood with him.

Holy, profane, bread, greater

The Lord’s gift (אִΧ©ֶּׁΧ” (Eeshe) Offering made by fire) is regarded as the bread for the Lord.

The high priest was greater than other priests because the Lord had chosen him.

Verses 8, 15, 23

Because the Lord sanctified the priests, they should not profane themselves.

True
