Find verses saying “‘holy assembly.” What is required to keep it?

The Feast of Weeks is the (             ) day from the Presentation of Firstfruits. They should present a new (          ) offering, (         ) lambs, (         ) bull, and (        ) rams for a burnt offering, one male goat for a (       ) offering, and (          ) lambs for a peace offering.

Passover, Weeks, Atonement, Shelters

These feasts helped them remember God’s past salvation, present provision, and future salvation. The Feast of Shelters reminded them of their temporary life in the world of wilderness.

Five times. Verses 3, 4, 7, 8, 21.

They should not do any regular work

Every time the ‘holy assembly’ is mentioned, ‘no work’ requirement follows.

They were not allowed to eat the harvest until they presented the firstfruits.

Fiftieth, grain, seven, one, two, sin, two

In general, the harvest season was from late spring to early fall. The barley harvest lasted from Passover (1/14) to Pentecost (the Feast of Weeks). The wheat harvest lasted from Pentecost to Tu'B'Av (a minor Jewish holiday. 5/15). The grape harvest lasted from Tu'B'Av to Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement(7/10). Dates are in the Jewish calendar. The first month = Nisan.

They appreciated the Lord’s blessings at the beginning, the middle, and the end of the harvest season.

The presentation of the firstfruit was the day after Sabbath. The Feast of Weeks is also the day after the seventh Sabbath. The first fruit, Jesus was risen on the first day after the Sabbath, and the Holy Spirit also came on the fiftieth day, the first day after the seventh Sabbath.
