Plain, firstborn, gods

The Bible vividly contrasts the deliverance of the Israelites and the judgment of the Egyptians. Just as their Exodus was a part of God's work, the Canaanite conquest also will be the work of God, the Lord's judgment upon the Canaanites.

5-15, 16-36, 37-49

It is hard to approximate the present locations of those places. Also, some places could have been missing from this record.

Interestingly, Kadesh-Barnea, where they sent out spies, is not mentioned here. Note that there were two places called Kadesh in the Bible: Kadesh-Barnea in the wilderness of Paran and Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. It is unclear whether the two Kadesh referred to the same place.

You can find the episode at Kibroth Hattaavah (verse 16) from Ch 11. The episode in Hazeroth (verse 17) is in Ch 12. The episode in Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin (verse 36) is in Ch 20.
