53: Keep your Inheritance (Num 36)

This last chapter revisits Zelphehad’s daughters’ story, also found in chapter 27. The inheritance should be kept by all means.

The heads of the Gileadites

The Gelieadites were a part of the Menassehite, who lived on the east side of Jordan. They didn’t want a part of their tribal inheritance removed and added to another tribe.

The Lord commended their attitude to keep the tribal inheritance among the tribe. 

 

To keep the inheritance among their tribe

 

Four (Verses 7, 8, 9, 12)

The Book of Numbers ends with this command, ‘keep your inheritnace by all means.’

You might fail to conquer your inheritance in Canaan. You might not be faithful to your inheritance, the calling of the Lord. Nevertheless, do not give up on it. When Christ returns, your inheritance will be completely restored to you. Just keep your vision and ministry by all means.
