Answers and Meditations

They are God’s children and holy people (1,2, 21)

Those animals were impure to them (7, 10)

They were chosen to be God’s people. Their life should be distinguished.

Those animals were declared impure for God’s people, not for the Gentiles. The resident foreigners were allowed to eat the impure animals (21).
