“The Lord your God is with you”

The mighty God who brought them out of Egypt with His strong hands will go with them and fight for them.

The Lord God will be with us. This is how He protects us and guides us.

Anyone who has built a house yet to dedicate it may go home.

Anyone fainthearted may go home.

Dying in the battle without getting into his new house seems not fair. God of justice doesn't want that to happen. Also, they would be distracted from concentrating on their work as warriors.

Fear will spread among the troops. The war belongs to the Lord. He will fight for us. The only thing required from us is courage in faith.
