Finally, David was acclaimed as king of all Israel. As the Lord blessed David, his kingdom stands strong.

Q4. Why did David name the place where he defeated the Philistines ‘Baal-Perazim’?
He named it after the defeat of the Philistines through the Lord’s help. The name means “Lord of the Outbursts.” David declared, “The Lord has burst out against my enemies.” The name reflects how the Lord suddenly and overwhelmingly swept away the enemy.
